I have recently had a VERY difficult troubleshooting adventure that I did get the founders involved in, and it did cause me to replace the leads at my expense (no success). FAA Certified ignition systems to replace half of the present magneto system on a 14 CFR 23 certified airplane. This was the first approved system, so Electroair had to do all the legwork and establish a baseline for those coming after, as well as educate the FAA certification folks. In the industry, we DO appreciate that effort! I have about 850 hours experience with the system, and to put it in a nutshell, I think you will save a fair amount of fuel, but probably not save on maintenance in the long run.
