Our master bedroom abruptly lost power, and when I checked the panel, one of the switches felt incredibly loose and spongy compared to the others. The specialist verified that the internal spring mechanism had completely snapped from age. He swapped out the broken component for a brand new, heavy-duty switch in less than twenty minutes.
