These guys are great. From the moment we submitted the request for quote, Mr. Hyman followed up. I sent him pictures to his mobile phone and he gave me a quote. We were able to schedule the appointment the next week. When one suggested time did not work, Mr. Hyman worked around my schedule. We recently used Hyman Electric and were extremely pleased with their service. We purchased an 85 year old house with many electrical issues. They were personally recommended by our neighbor. We found them to be knowledgeable, dependable, courteous, and reasonable with their charges. They cleaned up everything and I even received a follow up phone call to make sure everything was satisfactory. We were looking for the best quality electrical work for our home, and we certainly found it with Hyman Electric.
Stay away from this company. The work they do is not quality and they fail inspections. The estimate is NOT what you end up paying when work is done. They add on to the cost as they go. Scheisters!!
I will never use this company again. They never return phone calls especially after crap work being done. I overheard the technicians grumbling about the company. I also heard them talking about quitting. After their disgruntled talk, they went on to tell off-colored jokes. The work that was done was sloppy and I ended up having another electrician come in and clean up their mess. For the prices charged, you'd think they would be more professional.
Save yourself the time by not requesting an estimate. These people do not provide quality work for the horrible prices they charge.
Lousy job. Had to hire another electrician to fix the mess they created. Don't use this company.
The owner is a whack job. His crew's poor workmanship failed inspection twice and the owner had no apologies. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Steer clear.
This is by far the worst company I've come across. The owner is very pushy and an a**. The price I got quoted for a project was outrageous. I got 3 other estimates and all were much lower than Hyman Electric. Make sure you get other estimates before considering using this company.
The prices are ridiculously outrageous. I saved a ton of money by going with another electrician. Save your money - you can still get quality work done for less money. William G. Hyman Electric is for rich people who don't care where their money goes and don't bother getting other quotes. This company pads their pockets.
