I would not use Electric Bug for anything, I hired a Sat phone they gave me a quote but did not mention the $200 security deposit at any point before I actually picked the phone up ,then when I returned the phone that told me I would have to wait for almost 30 days to receive a refund of my deposit and then charged me for 2 calls which the tag on the phone said I needed to make to check that the phone was actually working. Great business, had been around for decades. I remember Dick a photographer at Adelaide international Raceway from around 1974. Them onto CB Radio, sorry Dick I forgot your callsign. We were great mate's of the late Peter Hurst. Anyhow I bought a Uniden usds 100 scanner about a year ago. They staff were/are very helpful and professional. Had the team from EBug check out my UHF Radio problems, poor reception issues. Team squeezed us in for assessment of equipment and problem solved the issue, while we had a coffee next door. Fast, friendly and effective with minimum of fuss. Would highly recommend to all looking at automotive comms, tech etc.
