Though I am not a lawyer, I would guess that the representation I received from this firm would qualify as negligent and malpractice. After 3 years of following up with Richard for updates (with responses to about half of my emails), my patent application was abandoned on my behalf. Richard claimed that a mixup in their office led to the wrong person (instead of ME, the client) being asked if they want to appeal the rejected patent application, and my filing was marked as abandoned.
