One of our parents has dementia and the other has severe cognitive issues. We needed help managing their care, which is extensive. My client signed a contract with ElderTree in Dec 2024 and I became her guardian in Feb 2025. I finally decided to terminate the contract in Aug 2025 with them due to the following: 1. Overcharge of their services – the “management” part (what the contact is for) is at $240-$360 rate, but very little on the invoice is for “management”. Their job should be making assessment and hire caregivers to perform necessary tasks at a reasonable rate. Thanks to Vivian Coda and her team, I was able to realize my longheld ambition to attend my 50th high school reunion despite my ongoing battle with ParkinsonsPlus.
