Always been nice and receptive to my needs. Nurses are very kind and responsible. A caring office.

Dr. Eldenburg now works at the American Family Care Urgent Care clinic in Sedalia since he shuttered his standalone practice a few years ago. At the time of this writing, Dr. Eldenburg is the only physician at American Family Care that will not see patients via televisits / telehealth under any circumstances despite the COVID-19 epidemic being at its absolute highest peak and AFC's own website saying that it is their policy to hold as many televisits as possible to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Dr. Eldenburg is a gifted physician. The problem is you don't get to see him. No matter how long you have been his patient or how much he knows about your history, he is not the attending. You will see a nurse that knows nothing about you and seriously does not care. She is too busy making herself look invaluable to the doctor, at his expense. 20 years and we are looking for another dr.
I loved his NP. She was wonderful. But every time I see Dr. Eldenburg he barely spends more than 2 minutes with me and is condescending. I avoid appointments with him and only go when the NP is unavailable. The staff is also quite rude if you ever have to ask them about a problem. There is no respect for the patient. From being told I couldn't possibly have the flu because I had a shot and then finding out I had it or going in for a sore throat and never even having my throat looked at - just no
90% of the staff is exceptionally rude, the doctor doesn't seem to pay attention nor care when talking to patients, very unprofessional and the billing practices are asinine! The quality of this practice has drastically dropped since his father left the practice.
