My surgery was May 4, 2020. Dr. Kuo and his team performed a robotic lobectomy on my upper right lung. Everything went as he explained it should and I couldn't have asked for a better team. Thanks guys and gals!

I found Dr. Kuo to be an excellent and caring surgeon. He repaired a Hiatal Hernia, which I have been living with for many years. I have never had a doctor spend so much time explaining the surgery and reviewing all of the lab results before proceeding with the surgery. The staff and associates in his office were excellent and very concerned about my recovery. I want say that the staff in the hospital was also very professional and concerned with how I was doing at all times.
I had 50-70 percent of my stomach in my chest cavity. I had what they called a giant paraesophageal hiatal hernia which occurs in 5 percent of patients with a hiatal hernia. I suffered for 4 years before the issue was discovered. Since the Surgery on December 4th. I was out of the hospital the next day. I have had no issues, eating normally. Dr. Kuo is a gem. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Kuo was very thorough, he explained the procedure in terms that we were able to understand and Dr. Kou was very personable.
I felt like I received the best care every step of the way. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kuo, his medical staff and especially his support staff, who went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly.
Se. Kuo made me feel 100% confident in his abilities. He is my guy if I or anyone I cared about needed thoracic surgery.
He and his team are simply the best. They are kind , compassionate and highly skilled. I felt like family going into surgery My recovery is excellent.
Dr. Kuo performed removal of right upper lobe due to cancer. I am a 75 year old woman & this was my first diagnosis of cancer.I cannot say enough good about Dr Kuo & his entire team. I was informed thoroughly about my issues & understood all pros & cons prior to surgery. His entire team reviewed my case together to come up with the best procedue for me.
