Dr. Elbert was referred to my father by an orthopedic surgeon who had operated on my father three months prior. Dr. Elbert's education, experience and patient reviews were impressive, and we found her to live up to the accolades. She is easy to talk to, she's caring, and she's amazingly responsive. Pardon this long preface which I add for emphasis before my review:I am 66 years old and have experienced health care living in 5 different states, under 9 different health plans, totaling about 30 doctors. Dr. Elbert did a great job on my inguinal hernia repair a year ago. Very little pain, quick recovery. She listened to what I said. I wish all my doctors were as competent, professional and personable as Dr. Elbert. I recommend her highly without ANY reservations.
Dr. Elbert was down to earth and listened. So thankful she was available when I needed immediate gall bladder surgery. She was very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind.
Dr. Elbert took care of my son and treated him like family. We traveled from Indiana to have her dot he surgery he so desperately needed. The doctors here wouldn't listen to him and she did! He finally received the care and surgery he needed to make him well. Thank you!
Dr. Elbert performed emergency surgery on me due to a bowel blockage. I would have died had this surgery not been performed immediately. I feel very fortunate to have had Dr. Elbert as my surgeon. She literally saved my life. She is an excellent doctor and is very caring and down-to-earth. I would recommend her without hesitation.

87yo mom got Dr Elbert via Harris Hosp ER. With less than 5% chance of survival, Dr Elbert saved my mom's life. Through 4 surgeries & 2 procedures, she never gave up on my mom. Would highly recommend Dr Delbert to anyone who needs a good surgeon!!!
