I first discovered ELA’s in March during a girls’ weekend. It was a highlight of our trip. Fast forward six months and I returned to HHI with my hubby and made reservations for a sunset dinner outside. It did not disappoint. I had the scored crispy flounder and it was a feast for the eyes AND the taste buds. My hubby (unfortunately allergic to fish) had a perfectly cooked steak. The views were lovely and the service was excellent. Can’t wait for my next trip.

The food and service were “good”, the Drinks OK. Problem is the wood top tables are so sticky the side plates were literally stuck in place as was the wine menu & S&P shakers. We lined the Table with our cloth napkins. We spoken to the dismissive “manager” who grinned & and said he knew and it was the cleaner they were using.....
The restaurant is on the water so if you want to dine with a view definitely make a reservation. Our waitress, Vanessa, was awesome. Professional and knowledgeable about the food and how the chef makes it. Not only were our food choices beautiful to look at, but unbelievably delicious! A little on the high end, but you get what you pay for! Highly recommend ELA’S on the Water, and we’ll be back again!!
