I am so thankful for Elara Caring Hospice. My mom was my father caregiver for so many years. When we chose Elara Caring Hospice, they came in and allowed my mom to be a wife again and not have to be his caregiver. They took excellent care of him. The staff is top notch and felt like extended family. Thank you to the entire Elara Caring team. I am so thankful that OU health recommended Elara based on great care and where we live.
The nurses were kind, once I was able to get ahold of them. They do not communicative with each other. They discharged me from PT well before I was ready, claimed I only had 5 visits approved. They said they fought for more but I was denied. . Insurance said they never tried for more. They actually never tried for PT, but skilled nursing instead, which I didn’t need.
