I looked past some of the negative reviews and decided to give them a shot because Houston Methodist recommended them. I promise you it’s not worth even attempting to work with the Elara. From having the initial person try to push my mom into a house, lying about discharge placement and “attempted” price changes for housing. Then having no updates about transport from hospital or arrival to assisted living facility. I gave two stars as the nurses were understanding and helpful but other than that, I would not go with this company as initially, they kept pushing us and pushing us to get my mom placed on hospice then once she was on hospice, we didn’t hear from anybody and I had to contact people to get things done and moving forward and the lack of communication is absurd. Once my mom passed they were supposed to be reaching out to us for any help for grievances, etc. and we still haven’t heard anything. The doctor went past the allotted... read more
Very poor and rude person on the call on very first call. Never call Elara.
Kaci and all the staff were awesome for my dad and our family. They were with us every step of the way and cared very much for all of us. My dad received the most loving and best care around. He was always treated with dignity and love. Thank you Kaci and Elara. You made a difficult journey the best it could be. Lots of love from our family.
The staff and nurses in our home town Conroe, Texas were amazing the doctors and the entire team down to aide were God sent. They helped me through every single process so I could carefully care for my mother. I thank God for them I would not have been able to get through this without their care and guidance. Truly amazing people who love what they do.
