DO NOT JEOPARDIZE yourself as a caregiver or your loved ones. The initial training nurse was more interested in returning a call to her own daughter than answering all of the questions I had with respect my mother‘s care. Following that, a different nurse was scheduled to train my sister and despite confirming the day before, they never showed up, they never called, and never returned our calls or text. Telling a patient that "their ribs are going to be broken at least three times and you're going to die anyways if they are not DNR." Is not bedside manners for people in the end stages of a life of service to society.

I definitely would never recommend their hospice program to anyone. They lack good care professionalism and empathy.

Elara Caring should be named uncaring with very argumentative and pushy individuals that work for them. My Mother is a client for this agency. The level of care and respect is 0! From the initial scheduling to the the provider coming out to the home. I was informed by both Dario, the PT and Angel the urse that they only to give less than a 25 hour notice to arrive to the client home! How ridiculous and inconsiderate!
