On the first visit, they could not find my house and went to the wrong town. They were late more than once, and I feel like I spent most of the same time answering the same questions over and over. The in home physical therapy was not very useful, and I made more progress in my first week with outpatient PT than after three weeks with Elara. Finally, they had the nerve to have their AI Chatbot "Michael" call me for follow up. If you can't have a human call, change your name to Elara Not Caring, because AI bots don't care.
My mother is 89 with Alzheimer’s and I’ve been taking care of her for about eight years now. Before you call Elara Caring for service you’ve got to ask yourself what kind of a company refuses care for an 89-year-old who needs them? Have a backup plan in case they can't show up. Our loved one passed (an at home patient of theirs) and they never showed up! They left us completely lost and devastated.
My grandfather is currently in there hospice program, we have had nothing but top notch service. Some of the appointments my get pushed later in the day due to unforseen emergencies for other patients but they always call and update us about the new arrival time. Nothing but good things from them so far!
These nurses are by far the best. I had a large wound that needed care and I truly don’t think I would have done as well as I did if not for them. Above and beyond care
