Very accomodating! I walked in one morning and asked if they had an opening for a brow and lip wax - they fit me right in, the esthetician was very quick (good for waxing!) and the makeup guy even fixed my makeup afterwards for free! Very reasonable prices, good decor. And of course Aveda tea while you wait!
Inexpensive Day Spa I'm not one to splurge on trips to the spa, but for my birthday last year, I decided to go for it. Elaj Aveda provided just that opportunity. I went for a massage and a manicure. I didn't have to wait long (with my tea!) until I was taken into a back room for my massage. They did a wonderful job. I felt so relaxed. The manicure was also very professionally done. The price was better than most spas in the area. I just may splurge like this every year.
Great Spa, Exceptional! I was given a gift certificate to this Spa. Jut before I traveled overseas, I decided to use the certificate. I had brow and upper lip waxing, facial, manicure and pedicure. I have been going to Spas all my adult life and this the best service I have ever had in all fronts; it was exceptional. Lots of kudos to the experts at this Spa.
New owners and management. I really love this day spa. Always have good service and lovely, soothing surroundings whenever I am there.
Shame on the owners for selling xmas gift cards and closing on 12/26.
Super sleazy! Sold gift cards last week of December 2014, then they closed right after Christmas. Owners should be charged criminally with fraud for that stunt. SMH.
Had a facial with Malekeh at Elaj and was very disappointed. Her technique is weak and her process is flawed. Clearly she is not someone who understands or knows the facial muscles because her massage on the face did not flow with the contours of the musculoskeletal structure. Instead it went against the grain and around the eyes she actually pulled out rather than moving in towards the nose.
