One of those hidden gems that's well worth going out of your way to find. El Zarape isn't trying to reinvent Mexican food or put a modern spin on traditional dishes, it simply serves authentic, honest cooking made with fresh ingredients and care. UPDATE MONDAY AUGUST 10TH: THIS IS THE CONSOMMÉ THEY GAVE ME WITH THE BIRRIA TACOS... STRAIGHT WATER!!! THE original dipping/Consommé is flavorful and you can see the spices and such.
