The service and the food is really good. My husband and I had the quesadilla birria dinner. Trust me when I say this they do not go skimpy on their portions or filling up the quesadillas with plenty of meat. Just a side note they do not serve alcohol. The first time I went there I was a little bit bummed but the service and the food made up for not having alcohol.
Jackie was the sweetest server and the food... i don't know where to start. But this has got to be some of the best mexican food. I've ever had. I moved from california to texas, where there's only tex max, and upon coming to this location because of work, this has got to be the best mexican food I've had after traveling to multiple states! Thank you Jackie!
The waitress brought me my meal and it had chunks of fat all in my steak tacos. When I told my waitress , she said that is how we make it here. It was disgusting . Some of the chunks were pure fat.
Run don't walk to El Zarape for some legit Mexican food! We were so impressed. My combination plate was giant and oh my goodness the pastor is so flavorful and juicy. The wet burrito is unreal. The pic says it all lol! We easily will enjoy 2 more meals each from our leftovers. I can't believe this was our first time here. We'll DEFINITELY be back!
Nice cozy little spot with great food, salsa is made fresh in house and you can tell. Always good and friendly service as well Burrito lunch special/dinner add cheese and red sauce. Thank me later
