I have been coming here for years and spending around $1000.00 per month. Today I was 4 minutes late for the lunch menu and they turned me down. Goodbye El Toro's, you lost a loyal customer.
It's basic tourist Mexican food: tasty, edible, Mexican themed, nothing special flavor wise. Nice atmosphere with good service.
I come here for Taco Tuesday whenever I can make it. Their chicken tacos are amazing! I also occasionally call and place a to-go order just for chips and salsa. The staff are great at their jobs and polite even when they're busy. During crazy rushes, they'll still swing by with more chips, salsa, and drink refills right as you need them. On Saturday 3/1 my husband and I arrived at 5:40 pm. The restaurant was maybe at 25% capacity. We asked to sit at the bar. 25 minutes after placing our order the bar tender let us know our food would be out soon. It took 30 minutes to get our food (longer time than it takes to get food at a full capacity Mexican restaurant) Based on the interaction it seemed as if the bar tender forgot to put in our order.
