Gotta say great staff and great bartender specially Arturo.. He love what he does and makes great music recommendations.. I just found home in San Diego
Over the years this location has gone down hill. Little or no renovations and the service lags. The bathroom is cramped.
Beware of the happy hour bar prices regarding wine. We went recently and ordered some glasses of chardonnay and it was not until we asked for the check that the bartender told us that the wines were $7.49 per glass and did'nt include happy hour prices. Shame on them for not including this wine during happy hour times!!! We won't go back again.
Awesome food , great enchiladas even better margaritas . Great location and amazing view !! A must if you are visiting Monterey - seaside area .
Wonderful food. We love the fajitas.........even as carryout. It was a big meal. One order was enough for 2

I'm surprised this restaurant has such low ratings considering my wonderful experience. First, i had a delightful waiter who had no trouble not only getting my order right, but also customized it for me with no problem Second, The food was very good (one typically only get really great Meixcan food at a much higher price.) Why cant places sell real asada chopped round steak is not carne asada chips were old only thing i liked was the employees they had good attitudes and were very nice the food is ok
I want to share an experience I had at El Torito this past weekend. I'm not going to complain about the food or the drinks as my experience was was not related to either. It was much worse... On May 30, 2015 I was assaulted by two members of the El Torito team. It was this past Saturday evening at approximately 8pm in Ontario.
