Lovely restaurant and great food
Me and my family decided to go to El Tepeyac instead of the Guadalajara just across the street to try something new. We were very, very, VERY mistaken. We were the only customers in the restaurant and it took forever for the waiter to come by. When we finally ordered our food, we would have to wait even longer to get it. Best thing about it is the decor. Despite many 'chef' recommendations, we found the food bland and uninspiring. Taco meat dry and under seasoned, and a watery tamale made for a truly underwhelming meal. It also took a very long time to come out. Certainly not worth the wait. If you're looking for something new, think again. Sides slightly better than the main fare, but still a disappointment all around. At least ingredients presented were fresh, but were really not done justice to by the preparations.
A restaurant that has a slow service staff with the kitchen having trouble to get hot meals quickly out but when the meals are done they are descent enough to eat.
