I really enjoyed my visit here. The food was flavorful and felt like a genuine, family-style meal, and the portions were more than enough to leave me feeling satisfied. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a comfortable, reliable place to grab a nice Mexican dinner. I would definitely return when I’m craving some good fajitas or tacos.
I went here while traveling through the area. The atmosphere and building appeared nice, so I was surprised by the food. The salsa was very bland and chunky. Salt and pepper couldn't save it. We ordered multiple dishes to try and all left us wanting. The meat for the burrito tasted like taco seasoning rather than genuine seasoning. I was incredibly disappointed.
The seafood relleno is so delicious!!
The staff at El Tapatio in Saint Helens are always pleasant and nice each time we are there. Always excellent service.
