Best food, service, and chips and salsa!!!!!!!!!!!!! – Great food! Great service! And some of the best chips and salsa we have had! We are new to the Portland area and have been trying to find great Mexican food and we found it last night! Not only was the food fresh and delicious but the service was wonderful! We were dinning with our 16 month old son which can be difficult at times and the staff made it a wonderful and easy experience for us all!!!!!!!
Nice Little Neighborhood Restaurant The El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant has been in Lake Oswego for a long time. It is right downtown and parking is easy. The food is great and service quick and responsive.I'd go back.
Great neighborhood Mexican – This is a great neighborhood Mexican place to take the kids and have some good Mexican food. The magaritas are also amazing. The service is friendly and they are really accommodating to kids and babies. I have had lots of different things there that have all been good. Last time I had shredded beef enchiladas that were some of the best I have had.
Excellent Authentic Mexican Cusine – El Ranchito is hands down the best authentic mexican restaurant that I have tried in the greater Portland Metro area (and I have tried a ton of them). I frequent this place 2 - 3 times a month and have not been let down yet down to date. Their chips and salsa are awesome and the carnitas des res is also highly recommended. Hot chips & Good Salsa! – Good selection.... Thin, warm, crunchy chips. Salsa spicy w/ fresh cilantro. Good Guacamole. Great coffee w/ a hint of cinnamon - mexican coffee plavor. Seating was very comfy for chubby people at the booths - which is rare. It was a little drafty there. The food and selection were good but I just ordered the wrong thing. I was not careful to READ the menu properly so.... my bad - but I would go back !!
Warning!! – My Boyfriend and I dined in this resturant every once and a while and the food is ok. But this time we stood at the front of the resturant for 10 minutes before anyone came and sat us. We then got our food I got the Enchilada with beef and my boyfriend got the Chimichanga with Chicken. The food tasted fine and we shared off both of our plates. Bleah – This had to have been the worst Mexican food I've ever had in my life. A sad shriveled up little enchilada. I sent it back. I looked at some of the other diners' plates and the food definitely didn't look very appetizing. That was my first and last visit.
