Stopped here to grab a quick bite to eat. We started with the chips and salsa—the chips were delicious, though the salsa was a bit too garlicky for my personal taste. I ordered the enchilada plate and a tamal with rice and beans, which unfortunately wasn't my favorite. However, my husband ordered the pork burrito and said it was yummy! Well, Kansas is not the center od well done Mexican food. And I love Mexican restaurants. So, this was a nice surprise and the food was good. Carnitas for dinner and it was very tasty. The salsa was just spicy enough and the gringo staff was friendly and prompt. Nothing fancy and nothing to write home about....except the food was awsome and the service was as well. Perfect spot on Hwy 24 in Beloit. Family run very authentic Mexican food. Thin crispy chips and tasty salsa. We ordered the famous arroz con carne and rancher's enchiladas and were not disappointed. A fixture in this community for 20 years, this place brings small town vibes with huge flavor and atmosphere! Ole!
