El Puerto Mexican Restaurant is Terribe Terrible, don't go to this place to eat unless you got lots of time to wait for service. Our waiter was also filling in as cashier(no manager present) and we had to get another waiter to take our order. Also I ordered a salad and told him 3 times --No mushrooms--Got mushrooms. Will not be going back to this place.
The worst I've ever been treated in a restaurant! My husband and I went into this place one day. They told us to have a seat. We waited and waited for a server to take our drink orders. When no one came, my husband went up to the front to ask. When our server finally brought our drinks he practically tossed them at us, spilling them onto the table. The food selection was also really poor! If I wanted to eat taco shells and canned corn I would have stayed home!
THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD I'VE EVER HAD!!! If i ever get asked where do you want to go to eat? This is my answer every time. They have the best autentic mexican food i have ever had. The taco salads are to die for, the Carnitas are delicious, everything i have had there is to die for. The absolute best food in Staunton! HANDS DOWN!
Not so authentic – I find that the food here is while not bad it lacks seasoning. There is a buffet most of the time that is quick and decent but for those with a pallet that needs pleasing be wary. Where is the cumin, oregano and the chilpotle chiles?
