The breakfast is great. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the plaza. Friendly staff.
We loved our stay at El Pueblo Lodge! Our room had a warm and charming Southwest décor that really fit the local atmosphere. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom was large and well-maintained, and everything was very clean and cozy. But the real standout was the breakfast. The best place to stay in Taos. Amazing breakfast (included) every morning. Nicest staff. Free firewood for wood burning fireplaces. Very hot hot tub and close to town. Incredible.
Super clean, super comfy bed, even took a great hot bath! Breakfast buffet is stellar, staff polite and attentive. Don’t hesitate, worth every $$.
The room was spacious and the location is great, but unfortunately our stay wasn’t very pleasant. Room 147 made a loud cracking sound about every 30 minutes, making it impossible to get a proper night’s sleep. The person at the reception wasn’t particularly welcoming, and when we had an emergency and needed to cancel our second night, they were not accommodating at all, even after our Expedia rep called to speak with them.
