History Established in 1985. In 1985, owners Leoncio and Ninfa Garcia opened the original El Pueblito (el pweb-LEE-toh, "the little town") to serve flavorful, reasonably priced meals to families in our community. Prepared with secret recipes in our home-cooked style, Leo's Mexican specialties became famous in our "little town" of Clovis. Since then, Clovis has grown and so has El Pueblito: a second location is now open in Old Town Clovis, serving the same mouthwatering cuisine we're known for.

El Pueblito This restaurant was a terrible diasppointment to the three of us who sought it out. We have eaten more Mexican meals than any other type of ethnic food, and this was absolutely the bottom of the heap. Maybe it was just a bad day, but how can you go wrong with good Mexican cooking? Would not try again.
