Grabbing food for someone and was forced to order through a kiosk. I hope they fail by using the people-less transactions. I vote to keep employees employed. If you ask a kiosk what is the most popular item or what people like from the establishment you get no response. Shame on El Pollo Loco. First, subpar food and now matching subpar service. Fail! Worst original salad I've ever had.. lettuce was not fresh it was wilted and tasted like metal...and the girl at the window was confused.. it was just this 1 location because I've been to others and never had a bad meal... so sorry EPL.. 😞 im hoping it was just an off day.. however if I go back it will be to a different place.
I ordered the 8 piece chicken meaI. What I received was completely old and dry. When I returned to the restaurant to address this, the manager informed me that I need to specifically request "juicy" chicken when ordering, explaining that the chicken dries out as it sits. I found this response entirely unacceptable and unprofessional. While the employee working the drive-thru was excellent, this experience was highly disappointing, and I do not plan to return
