I did the drive thru. I love El Pollo loco! The chicken is always perfect no matter where I go. I usually get double Cole Slaw and flour tortillas. The green salsa has the perfect heat and mixes well with the slaw. I don't consider it fast food. It's convenient food made right!
I really love this place for good food, good deals, and an easy place to have a meal, or a great place to take food home from.
I used the drive-through. I ordered a tostada. I asked for Ranch dressing. I specified that I did NOT want sour cream. I specified that I did NOT want the green sauce. I specified that I ONLY WANTED Ranch dressing. I got green sauce. It's not rocket science, ladies and gentlemen. If you can't provide an item, then tell the customer.
In my 40 years this has been the worst El Pollo Loco. The outside is dirty. The chicken was undercooked and was slimmy. Salsa was on point... Coleslaw and beans were good not great but good... With the price being charged now... give this location a skip.
