My experience at El Pollo Loco was very disappointing. The drive-thru communication was unclear, and the employee was not speaking proper English, which made it difficult to understand the order. Not everyone understands other languages, especially in a customer service setting. Even more concerning was the hygiene — the employee who handed me the food had visibly dirty nails. I go to this location only if I need to. It's not my favorite. It's very busy. Parking is cramped. This place looks a bit rough. We sat at a dirty table, I usually do take out. Had to use my tray to eat from. Staff is nice. I saw them clean some of the other tables when the lunch crowd thinned out.
