Up until today I mostly avoided El Pollo Loco. My past (few) experiences with the company had led me to believe that the food is underwhelming. Granted, I only tried a handful of items on the menu and this was years ago. This one visit changed my mind about El Pollo Loco. The pinto beans were too thick, very little "juice" and just too mushy. The flour tortillas were a bit hard as well. Quality used to be better, pay attention El Pollo Loco. You keep increasing prices while failing to maintain/ improve quality.
