I love the fire-grilled chicken that El Pollo uses in their menu items. I most often buy the Pollo bowl--a bowl of rice with chicken that I spice up with all the items on their topping bar--onions, peppers, cilantro, salsa, etc. Yum.
I drive 13 miles from my home to this fast food restaurant rather than frequent more local fast food places. I actually prefer El Pollo Loco over most fancy Mexican restaurants. Quality is always great, and they have plenty of healthy choices. This is fast food that doesn't taste like "fast food." that you can really enjoy without feeling guilty.
I had to write this review because this is my all-time favorite fast food restaurant. Top quality stuff, great taste, freshly made, and even healthy, for the most part. Don't get why there aren't more of these around, so I'm spreading the word. If you haven't tried El Pollo (Po-yo) Loco, you're missing out on deliciousness (de-lish-us-ness).
