I know it’s a busy holiday but after sitting AT THE BAR for 20 minutes and not 1 server said 1 word to me. I had to ask for a menu and then I thought I became invisible. Not to mention I was the only Black person in there. I guess I’m only good enough to pick up orders, not get served. Y’all are HORRIBLE!
El Patrón is a solid spot for Mexican food in Elyria. The menu has all the classic favorites, and everything we tried was good—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. It’s not overly fancy, but it delivers exactly what you’d expect when you’re in the mood for reliable, comforting Mexican dishes. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive, which made for an easy and enjoyable dining experience. Overall, a great local option if you’re looking for consistent food and a relaxed environment.
The sample platter is a whole meal in itself and amazing. And their queso? They need to sell it by the tub.. ;)
