I have been fighting with the front office for over a week about a simple referral. I have never had a doctors office put me though such a nightmare over a simple referral. They are extremely RUDE and just hang up on you after they are done saying what they want to say. Screw this place, I am getting a referral for somewhere else! This place is a joke, I am not putting my trust of getting surgery under ANYONE at this office. BEWARE!
I have been a patient here for 18 years with Dr. Penninck. I went yesterday to an appt. I scheduled the appt. two weeks ago. When I got there the receptionist told me he couldn't see me because I hadn't been there in a few years, no need to, I was considered a new patient and he's not taking "new" patients. I have another screw, that Dr. Penninck out in, working it's way out like another one did previously. He had to remove it surgically. I drove 2 hours for this appt. all for nothing. This office is awful. They are disorganized, discourtesy and extremely unprofessional. The front staff and medical records are a joke. They state they have no access to view (important and required) provider referrals and authorization; which delays the appointment of insured patients having appointments and procedures done. Calls are never answered and staff in unconcerned with accountability. Tenet in general is a horrible medical service provider. Full of people who should not be in health care
I had a very negative experience with the front desk staff—At the therapy office -on site , specifically, Minii. She was extremely rude and lacked basic people skills. This made my visit very unpleasant. It's unfortunate, because the therapists I saw were excellent—very professional and caring. They did a great job, and I have no complaints about their service. Honestly, one of the worst experiences I've had at the doctor in a long time. No consideration for the patient's time. The doctor lacked any warm disposition. The staff had no idea what I was doing there after being referred to them. I waited two hours and only got referred somewhere else. They left me to figure out how to go about schedule the other procedure and offered no guidance. I'd avoid it if you can but it seems like medical care in the borderlands is trash.
