About this business

Dogs and cats are the most common pets found at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, but there are a wide variety of other animals, such as hamsters and guinea pigs to large mammals such as horses, goats, and our feathered and finned friends as well. This organization is not real - the contact information and address provided belong to the Pikes Peak Humane Society. It is unknown who the people are administering this page. The page needs to be taken down.

They dont care about about life, they care about space and time. Period. I've lived here for 25 years and they just kill weekly. Doesnt matter what animals they have. Witness this many times. They will try to explain. Good luck......

This is not a legitimate organization. They are using another rescue organization address and web address.

This is **NOT** a real place. They are using location and website information for the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region but this is not the facebook page for HSPPR. Please report this page and help to have it removed.

This is a fake web page and has nothing to do with the Humane Society! There is no such thing as El Paso County Humane Society.

This is not the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. The Facebook page for HSPPR does not say El Paso County Humane Society. This is one of those automatically generated pages and people keep checking in here instead of typing in the right name. Just in case someone sees a post here and takes it to be what the staff and organization at HSPPR represent. AGAIN, this is NOT the humane society of pikes peak region.

Today, I was fortunate enough to take my granddaughter to the Humane Society as she is working on her Girl Scout service award. I had not been to the Humane Society for 30+ years and I was very pleasantly surprised. It did not used to be a very pleasant place to go. The building is beautiful, and the care that animals receive there was amazing and the kindness that I saw all around us just makes you happy. A young man named Tom, who I believe is the education specialist conducted this event for the girls. He was very informa... read more

the care and concern they showed a stray when I brought it in, very sick, was amazing. They got him better, kept in touch with me every day, and he was ready for me to release. If you find a stray take it to them. it is not necessarily a death sentence!
