You’re better off taking your children to a regular urgent care.
Had such a terrible experience at this place that is supposed to be accommodated for children’s URGENT needs. Walked in and told the receptionist the reason for my visit and she apparently had a conversation with the nurse practitioner who told the receptionist to come back and refer me to go somewhere else. A referral with no consultation, no physical evaluation of the problem- just a blind sided order to go to another place. First of all, every time we come here front desk staff is always rude doesnt matter whos up front. Second of all, this is the second time i go in with my 4 y/o daughter and they “forget” to send medication to walgreen. So now i have to wait till the following day at 9 am to call and have them send it. MIND YOU, i came in at 7pm. For an URGENT care facility, it really doesnt take any kind of urgency!
Imagine a 6month pregnant mother coming in with her 8y.o. 15mins before close. Child's face bleeding from deep laceration on her cheekbone. Only to be told after checking in and discussing insurance. "We don't do sutures here." Not cleaning her wound, or offering any form of assistance just worried about closing and going home for the night. Shutting light off as the pregnant mother walks out to an empty parking lot alone. Children's Urgent Care? No urgency or care to be found. Disgusting treatment.
