First time at a place like this. Price was good! Including drinks. Food was great! Very large buffet. All types of food. Cuban,American,Chinese. My party was 14 people, the total cost was $125 including a $20 tip!
I came yesterday to eat at The Palacio Buffet for the first time with my family since I saw the majority of reviews stating the place was great. Well for sure it was totally the opposite. The food wasn’t good at all. Spanish rice had no flavor, meat were overly cooked and dry. I think for the amount of money being made a few upgrades can be made within the facility. Looks a bit beat up inside, kind of makes you think twice about what you are going to eat. I think if they upgrade a little, it will feel a bit cleaner and well represented. Besides that the service was great and the food was good.
The concept is their but, the quality isn't, I've traveled 3 1\\2 hrs to eat their at least twice a month when I was going. For the same reasons at first the food is great then for some reason it starts to go downhill, maybe owning to many restaurants is not a good idea, because the owner or the kitchen leader cannot be at two places at once, when food is cooked or meat cleaned with too much vinegar the salt content intensifies to a bitter flavor that's hard to fathom, also the meat that does not get chosen should not get mi... read more
