El Patron is our favorite restaurant in ABQ and that is saying a lot. ABQ has a lot of restaurants to choose from. We love the live music, margaritas, naked chile rellanos, chips & salsa & sopapena's (sp). My husband loves the fact he can get a shredded beef taco here.

Went for the first time last night. The food was great and the service even better. Price was average for the area. The food reminded me of the old Gardunos style food before they grew beyond the original 4th street location. It was bright and cheery inside and the staff was so very friendly. This just became my new #1 New Mexican food restaurant to go to.
