Our food was really good. The presentation and service were top notch.
We came on a Sunday afternoon while we were passing through town, it wasn’t very busy. The salsa and queso were somehow extremely bland with virtually no flavor. Unlike the salsa I’ve had at any other El Meson. I’m assuming because of the demographic of Shelbyville that the food is very bland and mild to accommodate tastes, which is unfortunate. Ordered esquites and it came with no chili powder, it also was not very good.
