About this business
In 1965 this restaurant started as A & W serving their famous root beer barrels and hot dogs as a drive in. Later on Mr. Robert Perez bought it and changed the name to "El Sombrero Drive Inn" changing the restaurant to Mexican food. In 1986 the Bohon family bought the restaurant, changing the menu and added seafood to their Mexican food menu. good red chili and combination plate. My husband and I tried this restaurant and the food was really satisfying. I had the red chili plate and my husband had the combination plate with green chili, tamale and taco with beans and rice. Both plates were over loaded and very tasty. Highly recommended and the price was pretty reasonable.
