Meet the Business Owner Sergio D. Business Owner Sergio wanted to continue to bring Argentine culinary culture to Chicago and expand the company brand. Tango Sur, a couple doors down, has become an institution as a neighborhood favorite byob haunt. He thought it only appropriate to open a wine shop specializing in Argentine varieties while also providing his customer base a long awaited lunch spot for Argentine treats.

El Mercado Argentinian Mart on Southport Great corner grocery store to shop at for those hard-to-find south American/Argentinian food items when you are cooking up a storm. Also good selection of chilled beverages, Latin American cookies/cakes/candies.

Tango Sur's Next Door Neighbor Tango Sur on Southport is a great little hotspot for juicy argentian-style meats. Next door, you'll find El Mercado, where you can buy the meats, the chimichurri sauce and all the fixings that you'll need to make that special spanish-inspired meal. Ask for a fresh, hot empanada - and definitely take home a container of their chimichurri sauce (kind of like a pesto) and add it to your own chicken/beef dishes in your kitchen.
