This is a nice/quiet apt complex. Our family enjoyed living here for the past 4.5yrs and hope to remain for awhile longer. We like how there's a small park at the end of the street and we walk often to downtown MtView castro street. My wife takes Caltrain sometimes to the city to see her girlfriends, with the train station only 10mins apart.

I lived here for 4.5 years up until April 2023 and was sad to have to move due to work relocation. This place is a family-run business, so I always dealt with the family directly. They always provided quick service and was reasonable with annual rent adjustments (even before rent control started). It's a clean, quiet, small complex with no frills, but I didn't want to pay for those things anywya. My apt was very large space wise and I made good use of the patio. I've lived at El Markay apartments for a few years now (since 2018 to now in 2021) and have been very happy with the way I've been treated by the owners (we deal with them directly, not with non-motivated prop managers). They've been prompt with repair requests, reasonable with anual rent adjustments, and they keep the place pretty well maintained.
