To keep this concise: please read the bad reviews. I find the manager, Gabriela Mejia, to be unhelpful and incapable of properly managing this complex and communicating with residents in an appropriate and timely manner. They say they take resident feedback seriously, but obviously not since many have been voicing complaints—about management and the units— for years and nothing has changed for the better. Stay away from here for your own good!

I’ve lived at El Macero Village Apartments for many years. It used to be a great place to live under the previous management, but since FPI Management took over, the conditions and responsiveness have gone drastically downhill. Mold has been a persistent issue for years, in the bathrooms, all windows, and the exterior storage closet that shares a wall with our living room.
