A wonderful family run restaurant. We are blessed to have a tasty home style Mexican spot in the neighborhood.
Saw Great reviews online for good Mexican food ...was not disappointed..Shrimp salad was delicious and I look forward to trying other things on the menu.
We have been looking for a Tex-Mex restaurant for YEARS since the original Tex-Mex restaurants all either sold out or changed their menus to gourmet Mexican style. We finally found it with El Lobo. The place is small and nondescript (as they should be) and it is family owned and operated. The Mom or Dad is in the kitchen, and I’d say 20% of the patrons were local Mexican residents. Took forever to get served and also to bring out basic things like chips and salsa. This wouldn’t be a big deal if it was crowded, but there was ONE other person there, and I’m pretty sure they worked there. The food is forgettable. Watery sauce, bland seasoning on meat, beans taste like they’ve been sitting around for days, and the rice was not soft and bland as well.
