The very best part of my experience was Paulino, the bartender. I would go back simply to have him make me a drink! HE gets my 5 stars!
Excellent free parking. Large place with lots of booth seating and excellent wait staff. The food is good with a varied menu and the quality is 4 stars out of 5. It's a bit noisy and dark toward the back of the restaurant so we had our seating moved to the better lit, quieter part. I had the loco taco salad which was good but could have been improved with the addition of guacamole, shredded cheese and sour cream.
Update: Since El Gran moved and changed their menu a few years ago, I no longer care for their house margarita or molcajete. Their burrito fajitas are still good and my latest go to is pina loca which is delish. The service continues to be great. I absolutely love the white sauce that comes with the chips. Original: Always great good and service. This is my favorite local Mexican restaurant. The molcajete and burrito fajitas are my usual go to dishes.
