We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at El Gamal. While on vacation, what a wonderful break from NM cooking. The soup, the salads, and oh the falafel sandwich were all fresh and delicious, and the home-made pita was the best pita I have ever had.. While we didn't have them, I saw a serving of fries served that I wish I would have room for!!! I'm glad map-quest routed us through Taos, just for the El Gamal lunch.
Fantastic middle eastern food. Worth going even just for the pita bread - it's THAT good even by itself. If you're in Taos do yourself a favor and go eat at El Gamal! And tell him Amnon sent you!
Great food, this place was great, assortment of teas, great menu with assortment of entrées and desserts, waitress was great, not overwhelming nor non existent!
Best falafel this side of Mamou's in NYC! Tender and full of flavor
Vegan food on the menu!
