Love the atmosphere, bright and interactive. Food was good too.
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst Mexican food experiences I’ve had, especially for the price. We spent about $50 and ended up throwing most of it away. The chips were half filled in the bag and stale. The Gordo burrito had a strange, mushy texture. It honestly tasted like everything was microwaved. There was little to no seasoning on anything. Visited El Gallo Giro in Boise for tacos, carne asada, and a burrito with rice and beans. The food tasted good—well‑prepared, classic Mexican dishes with the familiar flavors you expect. Chips and salsa were fresh and enjoyable. Service was great; everyone was very friendly, and our food came out with no wait at all. Overall, a solid spot for straightforward, well‑made Mexican food with excellent service.
