I haven't tried any other pan dulce that comes close to this pan dulce, I've been eating this bread for the past 20 plus years and it's still the best!
El Gallo Bakery is one of our family's favorite! We have come here for holidays, celebrations and sadly funerals for over fifty years. Special and cultural breads for Dia de los Muertos and Dia de Los Reyes, they never dissapoints!!

Hola Diana Rodriguez, gracias por su review, quizás no nos había visitado en años, pues los precios subieron hace varios años atrás, nos vimos obligados por los incrementados en sueldos mínimos y materias primas, etcétera. Los tamaños nunca los hemos cambiado, por el contrario, en 1985 los incrementamos de peso, eso sí quizás en ocasiones sale mas pequeño por motivos fuera de nuestro control, como clima, pero el peso sigue igual desde los 80's, Gracias
I haven't been here in years. My favorite has always been the empanada de calabaza. This time it seemed like the recipe has been changed. The bread part didn't even look the same, they aren't filled the same way the used to be. It was like a spoonful of the calabaza was put in there. I never thought I would say I was disappointed in their pan dulce.
