Omg the nopalitos with tuna patty so good! Sorry couldn't post a separate review for them. I also got a desert with this Lent special!Enchiladas were very salty I couldn't tell if it was the cheese or the tomatillo sauce but over all great price, fast service. 9/18 today's suiza's were delicious! Yes they came with sour cream and salas on the side.
I came here to the El Gallito Mexican restaurant at San Benito TX to pick up some cheese enchiladas with rice and beans.When I got home still perfect warm and very delicious . I recommend this place because it has a great Mexican flavor.Hopefully next time I will dine in to check out the rest of the menu.
We went on an event today and it's sad to say how bad the food was in taste, beans tasted like canned, the rice was pale, no taste, fajita was dark and stinky, chicken was also stinky and rubbery. And old lady server was holding back on servings when the manager of funeral Garza paid for 70 people when we were about maybe 30 at the event. She serve about 3 pieces of fajita chopped up and like 4 if chicken diced. I feel sorry for what the managers paid but it was not worth it, food tucked. Came here from another city and I am here to say that if you're looking for authentic Mexican, this is not the place. The food here, in MY opinion caters to a certain demographic of people that is not Latino. The food is very bland. The beef is not very good. Rice tastes bland as well. Beans were yummy. Their "hot sauce" is just minced tomatoes served in tomato juice... not even blended or spicy...very disappointed in that. Service isn't that good. Another table got chips and nachos while we didn't. 0/10 I do not recommend.
