The food is great as usual, but they had some people (a dj?) playing some Reggae music (why I don't know) which we don't like plus it was being played too loud. We told our server and it was turned down, but only for a while and it started getting loud again. That was the worst part of our meal. Had dinner at El Fidel last night; it was a great experience. The glass wine selections were nice, if a bit sparse. The salads were fresh and crisp. My salmon special was nicely done - moist, not dried out as often happens. My wife had the lamb meatballs; they were sensational. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. The dining area is spacious and airy. I highly recommend El Fidel!
I've never been disappointed by the food or outstanding service. This place is amazing!
Completely unpretentious and low key atmosphere with attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. The food is expertly prepared and you can taste the quality of the carefully selected ingredients. Knowing that red wines pair with red meat I requested a white that might work with the filet. I was pleasantly served an exceptional Spanish wine that worked wonderfully with the entire meal right down the perfectly creamy and balanced creme brulee. Fantastically crafted food at a very reasonable price.
