Top quality restaurant! This place is amazing!!! Great, delicious, meals! Very expensive, so this is a great place to go for all of those special birthdays or celebrations. Come hungry, because the food is to die for. The service is great, they treat you like royalty. Don't forget your wallet though because it's not cheap!
El Encanto Hotel & Villas This hotel is truly beautiful. I found this place to be peaceful and quiet as well. The rooms were spacious, well-decorated, and very comfortable. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Beds were really comfortable as well. We had a wonderful view from our room. The staff here was amazing: helpful and courteous. I cant believe this is just a 3.5 star hotel because it seemed like a 4.5 star hotel to me!
Vista Views You don't have to be a guest to dine at El Encanto's restaurant. It's pricey, so I would save it for special occasions. On those occasions, make sure you get a daylight reservation because the hillside and ocean views are stunning. Walking through the garden itself gives you the feel of paradise.
Accomodating – Beautiful interior and very clean, the service is amazing. A bit pricey but worth it in every aspect!

High above it all, this historical gem washes worries away. – The Scene This French country-style hotel is set high in Santa Barbara's Riviera neighborhood on ten lush acres overlooking the town and Santa Barbara Channel. It offers easy access to local fun while feeling far away from the crowds. The architecture dates back to 1912 and truly captures the enchanted spirit of its idyllic location up among the birds and trees. The Details Comfortable guest rooms and cottages offer kitchens and fireplaces, as well as lovely views... read more
disappointing – Grounds and restaurant are nice. Regular rooms very dated, tired and worn with no charm. For this price range, there are *no* amenities except pool (no hi speed data, exercise room, hair dryers, etc). Beware dial up charges! For 2 years they have been aware that local dial up access numbers that show as Santa Barbara on Earthlink, AOL, etc. result in long distance charges but have the balls not to warn customers and to try to collect over $1.00/minute. Look elsewhere in Santa Barbara.
El Encanto Hotel has a 4.6 star rating with 833 reviews.
